Terms of Service

Scope of Services

 

Bliss and Zen provides professional massage therapy services, including Face massage and Full Body Massage. These services are for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only and do not replace medical treatment.

 

Booking and Payment

 

All bookings are managed through a website.

 

Clients can choose treatment type, date and time, when available. Bookings can be made online, in person or over the phone. Contact details must be provided for all bookings.

Bliss and Zen Ltd. accept all major credit and debit cards or cash.

 

Deposit

 

Clients are required to pay a deposit of 15 pounds at the point of booking to secure the appointment. The deposit will be used towards the treatment cost.

 

Cancellation

 

The following cancellation terms shall apply:

  • If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours notice your deposit will be fully refunded. 

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice before your scheduled appointment or are a no-show then Bliss and Zen reserves the right to keep your deposit.

 

These cancellation procedures apply to cancellation for any reason, including reasons beyond your control.

Packages and Plans

Purchased packages can be used for 100% of the cost for the selected services. Please select the package during the checkout, which will offset any payment.

Each package has a usage time limit. For example, a 3-session package must be used within 2 months from the start date.

 

Packages include a set number of sessions. You may only book the number of treatments included in your chosen package.

 

Packages are valid only for the specific treatment categories. The included treatments are available on the Packages page.

 

All packages include a 14-day cooling-off period, from the date of purchase, unless you have used all of the sessions within 14 days. To cancel, email blisszen.studio@gmail.com within this timeframe. If any sessions have been used, the cost for these will not be refunded. Additionally, a £15 admin fee will be deducted from the refund value, if a package is cancelled.

 

If you choose One-Time Payment, the full amount will be charged at checkout.

 

If you choose Recurring Payment, 50% will be charged at checkout and the remaining 50% will be automatically charged 1 month later. If the second payment fails, you will have 72 hours (grace period) to make a payment, the system will send you a reminder email and will attempt to charge the card every 24hrs. If payment is not received, your package may be cancelled.

 

After purchase, you can choose your start date and book your first session accordingly. The package duration will begin from the selected start date.

Late Arrivals and No Shows

 

We advise you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your treatment. Arrivals later than half the treatment duration will be treated as a no-show.

 

If you arrive late to your appointment for any reason, your treatment time will be reduced in consideration of the next client.

 

All late arrivals will be charged the full value of the treatment regardless of payment method.

 

Pregnancy

 

We only offer prenatal treatments to those in their second or third trimester. There is no time-frame for postnatal treatments.

 

Those clients in their first trimester should not book a treatment during that time. If a treatment is booked for a client in their first trimester, the treatment will be cancelled and the deposit refunded.

 

Bliss and Zen must be informed of any pregnancies to the best of the client’s knowledge at the time of booking.

 

Bliss and Zen will not be held liable for any consequences in connection with a client not disclosing pregnancy to us prior to the appointment.

 

Health Conditions

 

All health conditions and any medication must be disclosed on a client’s pre-treatment form. Bliss and Zen must be informed of any health conditions to the best of a client’s knowledge at the point of booking.

 

Age Policy

 

Bliss and Zen must be informed 48 hours prior to any appointment booked for a client under the age of 18 and written consent of a parent or guardian must be given at the time of booking.

 

Bliss and Zen reserves the right to cancel any appointment if we believe it is in appropriate for any reason for us to provide treatment, including the behaviour of a minor.

 

Etiquette

 

We ask that clients do not use mobile phones during treatments.

 

Bliss and Zen are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items during client’s visit to the Studios.

 

Bliss and Zen reserves the right to refuse treatment to any client who is physically or verbally abusive towards any of our staff - including but not limited to any inappropriate, aggressive or sexual behaviour.

 

Bliss and Zen reserves the right to refuse treatment to any client who is intoxicated or believed to be under the influence of non-medicated drugs.

 

Insurance

 

We are insured for the services and treatments we provide to our clients.

 

Service Locations

 

Bliss and Zen operates as a mobile massage business, offering services at clients' preferred locations, such as homes. Additionally, we have space available for appointments at 21 Skyline Village, E14 9TS, London, which is offered as a convenience for clients who prefer an alternative location. However, the alternative location is not a permanent space, so dedicated bookings will be required.
